     The Glazed Apple specializes in funtional, hand thrown pottery.  My name is Nancy Appleton and I have been throwing clay for over 30 years on the Island of Oahu.

     My range of pieces include Bowls, Platters, Casseroles, Serving Dishes, Chip Dip Platters, Toothbrush Holders, Utensil and Chop Stick Holders, Mugs, Garlic Roasters, Salt Pots, Tofu Strainers and much more.

    Having lived it Hawaii for most of my life, my glaze patterns tend to reflect the colors of the islands.  The earthy Brown Combinations reflect the sandy browns of the beaches and the reds of a new lava flow.  My Blue Pattern has the deep blues of the ocean and light blues of the clear blue skies.  The two Green Combinations reflect the mint green of new growth and the rich dark green of the lush forests.

    All my glazes are food safe and can be used in the oven and microwave.  It is best to place the piece into a cool oven and let it heat up slowly with the oven.  All pottery is also dishwasher safe.
